The UAlg delegation included Margarida Ribau Teixeira, Vânia Sousa, Eduardo Esteves, Pedro Cardoso and Jaime Aníbal, who participated in a series of sessions dedicated to the sharing of innovative pedagogical practices in higher education.
The seminar was developed under SEA-EU Task 2.2, with the aim of fulfilling Milestone 10 – “Empowering educators for a Sustainable and Digital Future”, focusing on strengthening the digital, green and transversal competences of academic and technical staff from the partner universities.
Throughout the week, courses, methodologies and pilot experiences developed within the Alliance were presented, addressing topics such as digitalisation in education, artificial intelligence, sustainability, innovative pedagogies, and the use of digital tools in both face-to-face and online learning contexts.
The programme included thematic workshops, debates and collaborative working sessions, promoting the exchange of experiences among academics and researchers from the various SEA-EU universities and encouraging the development of interdisciplinary and inclusive training pathways.
The participation of the University of Algarve in this seminar reinforces its active involvement in building a more innovative, sustainable and future-oriented European higher education ecosystem, in line with the strategic objectives of the SEA-EU Alliance.
