CAPLE Exams
The Portuguese Foreign Language Assessment and Certification Center (CAPLE) certifies foreign candidates at the following levels:

Please note: Registrations for the February CIPLE exam are closed.
The CAPLE Exams take place at the University of Algarve, in Faro, on the Penha campus, both in the ESGHT building and in the Pedagogical Complex.

Registrations
Before starting your registration, please check if you have with you:
- Updated credit card information
- Credit card with the safety system 3D SECURE (a credit card without this system is not accepted)
If you live in Portugal, you can also pay with an ATM reference or MBWay. If you do not finish your payment within 24 hours, you need to wait 48 hours until you can try a new registration.
Registration takes place on the CAPLE online platform:
Candidates will be able to register for the season and exam of their choice, but registration will be pending until the registration fee has been paid to CAPLE within 24 hours.

Exams From Previous Years
Certification
These certificates are internationally recognized, according to the standards of the ALTE Association (Association of Language Testers in Europe), which brings together, among others, institutions such as the Goethe-Institut, Instituto Cervantes, and the University of Cambridge.
Certificates may be collected by candidates at the ESGHT secretariat.
