Service Excellence Award
Requirements
Non-teaching and non-research staff at the University of the Algarve (UAlg) that integrate the "Internal Satisfaction Perceptions with UAlg’s Services (PSIS)" study.
Criteria
The Service Excellence Award is the outcome of an evaluation process carried out by the majority of the members of the Academic Community, through the annual completion of a questionnaire called " Internal Satisfaction Perception with UAlg's Services" (PSIS).
The award is annually presented to the Service that obtains the best final score, resulting from the weighted average of the scores obtained in the 3 PSIS indicators (Overall average satisfaction with the service provided - 50%; Staff involvement - 25%; Issue solving ability - 25%), and that meets the following cumulative criteria:
- It had obtained a total number of responses to the PSIS questionnaire equal to or greater than 100 in the year to which the award refers, or resulting from the sum of these with the responses from the previous year
- Has a final score of more than 5.00 in the year(s) considered for the award
- Did not win the award in the previous year
Prize Awarding
The award will be presented at a public ceremony.
