“10 Minutes SEA-EU” brings the Alliance closer to 1,575 undergraduate students at UAlg
The sessions took place in classroom settings and aimed to introduce students to the European University of the Seas Alliance (SEA-EU) and the various academic and international mobility opportunities available to UAlg students.
In total, this edition reached 1,575 undergraduate students from the different schools and faculties of the University of Algarve, reinforcing the impact of this outreach initiative among the student community.
During the presentations, several key aspects of the SEA-EU Alliance were addressed, including:
- An introduction to SEA-EU, highlighting its mission to promote academic, scientific and institutional cooperation among partner universities;
- The presentation of opportunities available to students, including physical and virtual mobility programmes, language courses, micro-credentials, Blended Intensive Programmes, joint programmes, competitions and other initiatives that help enrich students’ academic and international experience.
The initiative was coordinated by the SEA-EU Office at the University of Algarve, in collaboration with the International Relations and Mobility Office (GRIM).
Through this initiative, UAlg aims to bring the SEA-EU Alliance closer to students from the early stages of their academic journey, encouraging them to actively engage with the opportunities offered by the European university.
Following the success of this edition, there are also plans to extend the initiative in the future to other study cycles, further strengthening the goal of making SEA-EU increasingly accessible to the entire academic community of the University of Algarve.
