The University of Algarve is partner in a European consortium with the Universidad de Cantabria (Spain) and Delft Institute for Water Education (The Netherlands) in the creation of a new Erasmus Mundus Master in COASTHazar - Coastal Hazards, Risks, Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation. The applications for the 2022/2023 academic year are already running until 31 March, with EU-sponsored scholarships available for the best students.
UAlg is partner of the new Erasmus Mundus Master in COASTHazar
This new master's degree, coordinated by IHE Delft, aims to prepare students for professional careers that will help societies face and adapt to coastal hazards and associated risks, and to meet the worldwide need for qualified professionals in coastal engineering and management.
The highly trained COASTHazar graduates are expected to have the skills needed to design and implement climate change adaptation measures in vulnerable areas.
