1st Meeting of Ecuadorian Students at UAlg

The 1st Meeting of Ecuadorian Students took place last 8th April, at Penha Campus (ESEC, room UP), promoted by the International Relations and Mobility Office with the purpose of gathering all students from Ecuador who are studying at UAlg.

Since the academic year 2019/20, UAlg welcomes students from Ecuador under the international student status, having registered an increase of over 40% from academic year to academic year, which reaffirms the internationalisation strategy of UAlg in having a presence in South America. 

Alexandra Teodósio, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Sustainable Development, was present in this sharing and left words of support and spoke about the opportunities that exist in the Academy for students. The students also had the opportunity to briefly present their cities.
