University of the Algarve has formalized a Cooperation Protocol with World Talents, hosted at UALG TEC START - Incubator of the University of the Algarve, aiming to value and enhance the talent generated at the institution, attracting external investment, soft-landing entrepreneurs and companies in the region, and boosting, attracting and retaining talent, and thereof strengthening the competitiveness of the regional economy.
University of the Algarve has formalized a Cooperation Protocol with World Talents
The cooperation with World Talents, which owns the Global Talents Portugal (GTP) trademark, aims to promote the Algarve ecosystem access to international entrepreneurs and executives, attracting investment, talent and mentoring.
World Talents has established itself as a regional partner of reference, facilitating the integration of new projects, leveraging existing infrastructures and boosting networks to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship for global markets. Collaboration with the company has made it possible to support the attraction of investors and entrepreneurs, as well as the promotion of regional initiatives, such as the Algarve Tech Hub Summit, and talent development initiatives, such as supporting the participation of groups of university students in international competitions, such as the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) - Southwestern Europe Regional Contest (SWERC) 2023-2024.
