During the event, which brought together mixed teams from SEA-EU's nine partner universities, UAlg students presented a traditional Portuguese game. The initiative served not only for sports practice, but also for cultural exchanges and mutual learning in the course of activities such as: ST-CongreSS on Lifestyles & Sport at the Faculty of Medicine; traditional games presented by students from the various universities; socialising and creating partnerships with members of other universities; and immersion in the history and culture of Croatia.
The participation of these students in the humanitarian sporting event, accompanied by lecturer Elsa Pereira (ESEC), highlighted, above all, the importance of sport in promoting understanding and collaboration between different cultures.
