Applications Open for SEA-EU Joint Programmes 2026/2027
For the upcoming academic year, applications are open for one Bachelor’s degree and two Joint Master’s programmes, designed to offer a truly European academic experience. These programmes combine scientific excellence, mandatory international mobility, and practical, real-world learning across several partner universities.
Applicants from non-EU countries may apply between 10 February and 30 April. EU students benefit from two additional phases: from 1 May to 20 July (Phase 2) and from 21 July to 6 September (Phase 3).
The Bachelor’s programme SeaBluE – Sustainable Blue Economy, taught in English and lasting three years, includes a compulsory twelve-month mobility period. The same applies to the Master’s programme MIPMAL – Port Management and Logistics, also a two-year programme with a strong international component, in which the University of Algarve hosts students and contributes to training in a strategic field for coastal and port regions.
The Master’s programme STORM – Sustainability Transition for Organisations and Resilience Management prepares future leaders to drive sustainable transformation within organisations, through innovative approaches and hands-on experiences focused on societal and environmental challenges.
The participation of the University of Algarve in these Joint Programmes goes beyond hosting international students. The second year of the SeaBluE Bachelor’s programme takes place at UAlg. In addition, UAlg academic staff also teach at partner universities, reinforcing the collaborative curriculum development that defines these joint programmes.
Choosing a SEA-EU Joint Programme means becoming part of a truly European academic community, crossing borders from the very first semester, and building a strong international academic pathway.
