UAlg representatives contribute to SEA-EU Future Leadership Forum on the 2030 Agenda
The UAlg delegation included Alexandra Teodósio, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and sustainability, Patrícia Pinto, Pro-Rector of UAlg for SEA-EU, and Vânia Baptista, the member of CCMAR. Vânia Baptista delivered a presentation on the UAlg’s contributions to the SDGs, specifically SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation.
Furthermore, the Vice-Rector and Pro-Rector of UAlg participated in a session dedicated to exploring the pivotal role of SEA-EU and its member universities in advancing the SDGs. They discussed potential collaborative frameworks to enhance resource sharing, leverage expertise, and facilitate the exchange of best practices across the SEA-EU network.
The forum reinforced the importance of partnerships in tackling global challenges and underscored SEA-EU's dedication to supporting sustainable development through education, research, and community engagement. UAlg’s active involvement reflects its commitment to both regional and global sustainability efforts, aligning with the collective vision of the SEA-EU alliance.
