UAlg organizes Summer School about emotional intelligence and combating discrimination

As part of the project "Implementation of effective practices for the development of students' emotional intelligence with particular emphasis on anti-discrimination activities in European universities" (EQUNI), the University of the Algarve is organizing, from 8 to 14 July, a Summer School: Empowering Academia for an Inclusive University.

Aimed at students, researchers, grant holders and non-teaching staff, both national and international, this initiative will feature various activities that will allow its participants to work in an international multidisciplinary team, with experts from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of the Algarve, the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and the Lodz University of Technology (Poland) as trainers.

Funded by the Erasmus+ program, the EQUNI project aims to promote emotional intelligence and combat discrimination in European universities. With a budget of 400,000 euros and a three-year implementation period (December 31, 2022 to December 30, 2025), it aims to implement effective practices for developing students' emotional intelligence, with an emphasis on anti-discrimination activities.
