The concert follows a theme that tells the story of fire as a source of light and enlightenment, culminating in one of Beethoven's most energetic and expansive scores.
Under the direction of conductor and cellist Bruno Borralhinho, the orchestra will perform works by authors such as Frederick Delius, Joseph Haydn and Ludwing Van Beethoven.
Bruno Borralhinho is one of the most acclaimed Portuguese names in Europe, where his career alternates between the podium and the cello. Based in Germany, Borralhinho has given concerts to great critical acclaim and usually performs in Portugal with the Orquestra Sinfónica Nacional or Orquestra Gulbenkian. This will be his Algarve debut and an unmissable occasion for any music lover.
Admission to the concert is free, but subject to capacity.
