Training School “Family Support and Research for Social Impact”
QA[4]EuroFam is a one-year project, funded by the COST Innovators Grant, where 22 countries particpate, with the aim of implementing quality standards identified by the previous project – EuroFamNet – in terms of support for families, as well as promoting the well-being of children and families.
The Training School is a COST Innovators Grant (CIG) tool is focused on the development of early-career researchers, especially those pursuing a doctorate and post-doctorate. The objective of the CIG Training School is to contribute to the high quality training of future generations of European researchers in the area of family support, using an evidence-based and holistic approach.
Thus, in the coming days, at the Gambelas Campus, 22 participants (16 trainees and 6 trainers), coming from different European universities, will attend five presentations, led by experts in the field of family support, such as Maria José Rodrigo (University of La Laguna), Lucía Jiménez (University of Seville), John Canavan (University of Galway), David Herrera (University of Málaga), and Cristina Nunes and Cátia Martins (University of Algarve).
