Objectives

  • To develop nursing management skills for professional, ethical and legal practice
  • Understand the importance of organisational management and the potential of nurses' participation in this process
  • Guide management practice through legal standards, ethical principles and deontological considerations
  • Use effective management techniques and tools for planning, organising, directing and controlling
  • Apply management models that facilitate organisational development and promote the quality and safety of nursing care
  • Adopt leadership strategies that promote change and add value to the profession and organisation

Operating Mode

Schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 17.30 and 21.30, and two Saturdays (to be determined) between 09.00 and 13.00 and 14.00 and 16.00.

This course is accredited by the Portuguese Order of Nurses, allowing it to be awarded Added, Differentiated and Advanced Competence in Management.

National Students: 1050 Euros

International Students*: 1750 Euros

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Note: The tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.
