Overview
This master’s program was designed to develop forward-thinking managers capable of integrating diverse theoretical and practical perspectives, thinking critically and innovatively, and generating sustainable impact within organizations.

Objectives

The master’s program aims to establish itself as a highly demanding academic program, focused on the production and dissemination of rigorous and relevant scientific research, with national and international recognition in the field of Management. Grounded in a culture of critical thinking, analytical rigor, and excellence, it seeks to prepare students to actively contribute to the management and transformation of organizations.
The master’s in management is intended for graduates from any academic background who demonstrate adequate academic preparation and fundamental knowledge in management or related fields.
 

Operating Mode

The curriculum is composed of 7 required courses and 3 elective courses. Students will have five required courses in the first semester and two required courses in the second semester together with 3 electives. In the third semester of the program all students will be required to write a dissertation, internship or project report. 

 

Tuition and Fees 2026/2027

National Students: 2200 Euros (1st year - 1100 Euros; 2nd year - 1100 Euros)

International Students*: 4250 Euros (1st year - 2500 Euros; 2nd year - 1750 Euros)

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 175 Euros

Note: The  tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

* in accordance with Decree-Law No. 36/2014, changed by Decree-Law No.62/2018, of 6th August, international students are nationals of a country which is not a Member State of the European Union and are not a legally resident in Portugal for more than 2 uninterrupted years by 1st of January of the enrolment year

 

Merit Scholarships

For the upcoming academic year, Merit Scholarships will be made available by the Faculty for the most outstanding candidates enrolling in the program. Merit Scholarships will only cover the program tuition fee. All conditions for awarding Merit Scholarships are provided in the "Regulation for the Award of Merit Scholarships".

PRR Scholarships

This program is part of the project “UAlg+Skills4All”, conducted under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). It offers an incentive scholarship for bachelor’s degree holders who are not covered by the International Student Statute, in accordance withthe applicable regulations.
