How do I get the declaration?

The free pass for young students, established by Ordinance No. 7-A/2024 of January 5, is a fare scheme that grants exemption from the payment of monthly tickets—whether intermodal or monomodal—applicable to collective public passenger transport services operating within the geographic areas of each metropolitan area (AM) or intermunicipal community (CIM).

To obtain the Proof of Enrolment - Free Passes for Young Students, after completing your enrolment process, you must access your student area on the Academic Portal and choose the item ‘Request Documents’ under the School Activities option.

Within this topic, there are the following steps:

  • Select the item "Comprovativo de matrícula - Passes Gratuitos para Jovens Estudantes" (Proof of enrolment - Free Passes for Young Students)
  • Click on “Adicionar Documentos” (Add Documents)
  • Choose the delivery method “Modo de entrega online” (Online delivery method)
  • Select the academic year
  • Click on "Comprar" (Buy) - Note: this document does not cost anything
  • Confirm

After following the steps above, go to the ‘Documents’ tab and select ‘Consult’. Click on the item ‘Proof of enrolment - Free Passes for Young Students’ and a page will open that you can save/print with the requested document.

The complete document is already digitally signed and must be handed in to the transport company where you want to issue your pass.
