Conditions of access

Admission requirements:
a) Holders of a bachelor's degree in Education Sciences and related subjects, or legal equivalent.
b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies in Education Sciences, organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process, by a State adhering to this process. 
c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a degree in Education Sciences by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education establishment to which they wish to be admitted.
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of the Algarve.
e) The recognition referred to in paragraphs b) and c) only has the effect of granting access to the cycle of studies leading to the master's degree and does not confer on the holder the equivalence of the degree to a bachelor's degree or the recognition of that degree.

Criteria for selection of the candidates

Criteria for selecting candidates:
The assessment of the candidates' curriculum vitae will consider the following criteria: 
a) Degree average: 70/200
b) Basic training in research methodologies: 70/200
c) Professional experience relevant to the scientific area: 60/200
Note on the selection criteria: The Course Directors reserves the right to reject applications that score less than 80 points out of 200.
 

Necessary documentation

Documentation required:
Those interested should formalise their application using the online form, duly completed and where the documents should be uploaded:
- Certificate of qualifications, with transcripts of subjects (proof of degree), in the case of foreign qualifications you must attach a certificate, duly authenticated by the consulate/embassy.
- Copy of ID card or passport
- Curriculum Vitae (with personal, academic and professional details)
- Proof of payment of the application fee of 50 euros.
