Overview
This course is accredited by the Order of Nurses and therefore allows the award of Added, Differentiated and Advanced Competence in Clinical Supervision. According to Regulation no. 366/2018, the practice of Nursing in Clinical Supervision is decisive for ensuring effective and comprehensive support in the supervisory relationship, guaranteeing quality in the process of monitoring and developing personal and professional competences, as well as for the critical-reflective construction and consolidation of professional identity. In this way, Clinical Supervision in Nursing is, through the development of competences, an effective and supportive component for promoting the safety and quality of the care provided, which is unequivocally aimed at achieving health gains.

Objectives

  • To develop nurses' skills in Clinical Nursing Supervision in order to support students, recent graduates and professionals
  • Adopt an ethical, critical, reflective and transformative stance when supervising nursing students, recent graduates and professionals
  • Intervene effectively in the guidance of nursing students, recent graduates and professionals
  • Use observation techniques in clinical nursing supervision work
  • Apply evaluation models in clinical nursing supervision
  • Carry out research into the tripartite relationship between the student/clinical context/academic context

Operating Mode

Schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 17.30 to 21.30, two Saturdays from 9.00 to 13.00 and 14.00 to 16.00.

National Students: 1050 Euros

International Students*: 1750 Euros

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 150 Euros

Note: The tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.
