Conditions of access
This course is aimed at anyone interested in the artistic languages and disciplines of comics, narrative illustration and character design in particular, but also in more general areas such as graphic arts, forms of visual storytelling, fields of interaction between narrative and image, creation editorial, book arts and contemporary forms of communication, from journalism to creation for children, autobiography and gaming. Former students of the degree in Animated Image, Communication Design and Visual Arts at UAlg.
Criteria for selection of the candidates
- Degree in a Scientific Area similar to that of Postgraduate
- Final degree grade
- Professional experience in the postgraduate area for which you are applying
- Mastery of the Portuguese language. During the evaluation and ranking period, the candidate may be invited for an interview with the Postgraduate Coordinating Committee. The interview will serve to learn in detail about the candidate's academic profile, professional experience, skills, personal characteristics and motivation

- Certificate of final completion of the 1st cycle course (degree)
- Certificate proving the attribution of equivalence/recognition of qualifications, in the case of foreign qualifications
- Curriculum Vitae
- Photocopy of identification document (identity card/citizen card or passport)
- Photocopy of taxpayer card or tax identification number
- Payment of the application fee
Failure to present any necessary document, mentioned above, for the candidate's assessment will result in exclusion.
