Conditions of access

1. Holders of a degree or legal equivalent in a postgraduate scientific area or similar
2. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree in a scientific area similar to that of Postgraduate Studies, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this process
3. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree in a scientific area similar to the Postgraduate degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree by the Technical-Scientific Council of the Escola Superior de Educação e Comunicação from the University of the Algarve
4. Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, which is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this cycle of studies by the Technical-scientific council of the Escola Superior de Educação e Comunicação from the University of the Algarve
5. Presentation of portfolio in the Postgraduate area.

The recognition referred to in points 2 and 4 is only valid for access to the Postgraduate Studies and does not grant its holder equivalence to a degree or recognition of any degree.

Criteria for selection of the candidates

• Degree in a Scientific Area similar to that of Postgraduate
• Final degree grade
• Professional experience in the postgraduate area for which you are applying
• Portfolio presentation in the Postgraduate area
• Proficiency in Portuguese and preferably English. During the evaluation and ranking period, the candidate may be invited for an interview with the Postgraduate coordinating committee. The interview will serve to learn in detail about the candidate's academic profile, professional experience, skills, personal characteristics and motivation.

Necessary documentation

• Online registration form
• Certificate of final completion of the 1st cycle course (degree)
• Certificate proving the attribution of equivalence/recognition of qualifications, in the case of foreign qualifications, certificate issued by the Center for Assessment of Portuguese as a Foreign Language (CAPLE), an entity recognized for this purpose, which attests to knowledge of the Portuguese language at the level of the Common European Framework Reference Framework for Languages (CEFRL), equivalent to at least level B1 of the CEFR, for candidates whose mother tongue is not Portuguese
• Curriculum vitae
• Photocopy of identification document (identity card / citizen card or passport / residence card)
• Photocopy of taxpayer card or tax identification number
• Payment of the application fee
• Document with portfolio (.pdf document, with links, videos, animations)

The lack of any necessary document, mentioned above, for the candidate's assessment implies his/her exclusion
