Conditions of access

The applicants must meet the following requirements: 
a) hold a bachelor’s degree or legal equivalent in Arts and Humanities (area 2 CNAEF) or in related areas; 
b) hold a foreign higher academic degree subsequent to a 1st cycle of studies in these areas, organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process; 
c) hold a foreign higher academic degree recognized by the Scientific Council of FCHS-UAlg as meeting the objectives of a bachelor’s degree in the same areas; 
d) exceptionally, and in duly justified cases, hold an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized by the 

Criteria for selection of the candidates

Criteria for the selection of applicants: 
I. The evaluation of the applicants’ curricula will consider the following criteria: 
a) Classification of the bachelor’s degree: 60/200; 
b) Professional experience relevant to the scientific area: 80/200 
c) Participation in research activities and/or projects: 30/200 
d) Exhibitions, communications and/or publications relevant to the scientific area: 30/200 

II. Applicants who hold an academic degree from the University of the Algarve will have a bonus of 20 points.

Applicants must formalize their application completing a form online and therein uploading the following documents: 
i) Duly authenticated qualification certificate proving the required academic qualification, including the course classification and list of subjects completed; 
ii) Document of personal identification: ID/CC or Passport;
