Conditions of access
a) Holders of a degree in Sports or a related field;
b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree in Sport or similar awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this rocess;
c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree in Sports, by the Council Scientific Technician of the Institution that sponsors the operation of the course;
d) Holders of an academic, scientific and professional curriculum in the scientific area of Sport, which is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this cycle of studies by the Technical-Scientific Council of the Institution promoting the operation of the course;
The recognition referred to in paragraphs b) to d) is only valid for access to the study cycle leading to a master's degree and
does not grant its holder the equivalence or recognition of any degree.
Criteria for selection of the candidates
I. Candidates will be selected and ranked through the evaluation of their Curriculum Vitae, considering the following criteria:
1. Degree area considered relevant given the nature of the course;
a) Relevance of the training area
5 points – Degree in Sports with specialization in the course area referred to in the notice
4 points - Degree in Sports
3 points – Degree in Physical Education
2 points – Degree in areas related to sport
1 point – Other degrees or educational training
b) Classification of the Degree;
3x0-20 – Degree in Sports or Physical Education
2x0-20 – Degrees in related areas
1x0-20 – Other degrees or educational training
2. Scientific curriculum in the scientific area of sport;
5 points – 5 or more publications/communications in magazines/scientific events
4 points – 3/4 publications/communications in magazines/scientific events
3 points – 1/2 or more publications/communications in magazines/scientific events
2 points - 5 or more participations (without communications) in technical-scientific events
1 point – less than 5 participations (without communications) in technical-scientific events
3. Professional CV in the scientific field of sport
5 points – 5 or more years of professional experience in the field of sport
4 points – 2 to 4 years of professional experience in the field of sport
3 points – less than 2 years of professional experience in the field of sport
2 points - sporadic/seasonal professional experience in the field of sport
1 point – no professional experience in the field of sport
4. Sports curriculum
5 points – proven practice of federated sport (international level)
4 points – proven practice of federated sport (national level)
3 points – proven practice of sporting activity (more than 5 years)
2 points - proven practice of sporting activity (less than 5 years)
1 point – without proven practice of sporting activity
II. The final classification of candidates is calculated by adding up the points obtained in each of the selection and ranking criteria
mentioned above. The ability to understand the English language (written and oral) may be applied as a tiebreaker.
Necessary documentation
- Certificate of Qualifications, proof of ownership of a degree in Basic Education or document proving that the certificate was requested
- Copy of BI/CC or Passport
- Curriculum Vitae (with personal, academic and professional data)
- Proof of payment of the registration fee
