Conditions of access

Candidate’s conditions for admission
i. Holders of a 1st cycle of studies degree or legal equivalent;
ii. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this process;
iii. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of the Algarve;
iv. Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of the Algarve.

Criteria for selection of the candidates

Candidate’s selection criteria:
 

1. Degree classification (50%).
 

2) Curriculum analysis according to the following items:
a) Degree in Humanities (30%);
b) Publications (10%);
c) Activities of a cultural nature (10%).

Necessary documentation

Candidates must submit their application through the online form, ensuring it is fully completed and that the following documents are uploaded:
- Certificate of qualifications, including a transcript of subjects (proof of degree). For foreign qualifications, an authenticated certificate from the consulate/embassy must be attached.
- Copy of ID card, Citizen Card, or Passport
- Curriculum Vitae, detailing personal, academic, and professional
- Information Proof of payment of the €50 registration fee.
