Portuguese as Foreign Language Course

Conditions of access

• Mobility students at the University of the Algarve
• Mobility or visiting foreign researchers/professors who wish to carry out research at the University of the Algarve
• Foreign students attending full degrees at UAlg
• Foreign citizens living in Portugal who wish to learn or improve their skills in Portuguese Language and Culture

Note: The minimum age for admission is 17. Candidates must have completed their secondary school education.

Visa: The applicants from third countries (outside the European Union) must submit, at the time of completing the online application a PDF of the Visa to stay in Portugal, without which, the registration in the course will not be considered or returned any money. The Faculty does not send invitation or acceptance letters.

Criteria for selection of the candidates

• Without the visa to stay in Portugal will not be accepted any applications

Necessary documentation

• Completion of the online registration form (all fields are mandatory)
• Mandatory presentation of a visa (in the applicable cases).
• Copy of identification document.
• Copy of the certificate obtained in PLE (if the level intended is other than A1)
