Conditions of access

1. a) Holders of a degree in the areas of Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, degrees in related areas;b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process;c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree;d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, which is recognized, as certifying the ability to carry out this cycle of studies.2. The recognition referred to in paragraphs b) to d) of paragraph 1 depends on the evaluation and approval of the scientific council and has the effect only of access to the study cycle leading to the master's degree, not granting its holder equivalence to the degree delicenciado or recognition of that degree
3.The admission of foreign candidates, whose mother tongue is not Portuguese, will depend on prior confirmation through an (online) interview of their ability to understand spoken and written Portuguese.

Criteria for selection of the candidates

Curriculum evaluation-35%; degree rating-65%. The degree grade will be previously affected by a factor that will take one of the values: 1.2; 0.8; 0.6 or 0.5 depending on whether it fits, respectively, in the area of ​​Agronomy, Biological Sciences or Engineering, Exact Sciences or Engineering not related to Biology, Non-Exact Sciences or Literature.
