Conditions of access

1. Holders of a 1st cycle of studies degree or legal equivalent;
2. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this process;
3. Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of the Algarve;
4. Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of the Algarve.
 

The recognition referred to in points 2 to 4 only has the effect of granting access to the cycle of studies leading to the master's degree and does not confer to its holder the equivalence or recognition of a 1st cycle of studies’ degree.
 

Criteria for selection of the candidates

1. Degree classification.
2. Fieldwork and other relevant experience.

Necessary documentation

• Certificate of qualifications, with transcripts of subjects (proof of degree); in the case of foreign qualifications candidates must attach a certificate, duly authenticated by the consulate/embassy
• Copy of ID card or passport
• Curriculum Vitae (with personal, academic and professional details).
• Proof of payment of the application fee of 50 euros.
