UAlg organises international conference on Marketing, Hotel Management and Tourism
The conference will provide a unique forum for participants from academia, industry, government and other organisations to actively exchange, share and challenge research and case studies on hospitality and tourism marketing and management. The aim of this conference is to explore current issues in these areas, promote debate and develop new perspectives for the sector, with a focus on globalisation and sustainability.
The AHTMM brings to Faro speakers of recognised international merit, round tables where the challenges currently facing the tourism sector will be discussed, as well as various workshops on advanced methodologies in Marketing and Management research with application to Tourism and Hospitality.
For four days, around 150 participants will debate issues related to artificial intelligence and service robots; consumer behaviour in the context of tourism and hospitality; climate change and tourism development; community-based tourism; sustainable tourism policy and planning; government intervention in tourism, among other topics.
