UALG TEC CAMPUS is an infrastructure for hosting, acceleration and business interaction, verticalised in the ICT sector. Its main objectives are to stimulate the flow of knowledge and technology between non-business entities in the R&I system and companies; to facilitate the localisation of R&D activities led by the business sector; and to boost the provision of high value-added services.
The Accelerator aims to meet the specific needs of companies at an advanced stage of development, mobilising knowledge, technologies, companies, associations, and any reference entity whose activity is based on knowledge and innovation, and which demonstrates high growth potential, providing a range of services and infrastructures, with the aim of boosting their internationalisation capabilities and increasing their technological intensity, namely by facilitating cooperation with the scientific and technological system.
The UALG TEC CAMPUS is aimed at legal entities with an already recognised and consolidated activity in the market, and innovative technology-based or humanist companies with high growth potential, whose activity is of clear interest to the development of the University of the Algarve, under the terms of article 5 of Regulation 392/2021 on the acceleration of companies at the University of the Algarve.
