Galeria Trem will host the opening of exhibition # 2 The Gateway to the Stars, on 25 November, at 6:30 pm, followed by the launch of the book The Power of Love, both signed by Pedro Cabral Santo, professor of the Visual Arts Course at University of Algarve and researcher at the Centre for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC).

This exhibition, at first, addresses the Image understood as an “interdimensional door, capable, in this way, of transporting us, automatically, to different parts of the Universe, thus contemplating the ‘magic’ and the ‘mysteries’ that involve all that that concerns you, as also happens in the case of images”. Secondly, the exhibition serves as an introduction to the launch of the book The Power of Love, Brief Notes on Artistic Image and Other Subjects, a text that results from a selection of articles and written essays, and published intermittently, over the past 20 years. This crusade sought to unravel the almost impenetrable fascination that lurks behind what is called the Artistic Image.
The exhibition is curated as part of the Bachelor’s course in Visual Arts at the University of Algarve, with the support of CIAC, the Foundation for Science and Technology and the Municipal Council Municipal Museum of Faro.
