International Day

On October 18, at 2:00 p.m., in the Teresa Gamito Amphitheatre, Building 1, Campus de Gambelas, will be held the usual International Day of the University of Algarve.

Organized by the International Relations and Mobility Office, this event will feature presentations from international students that will showcase aspects of the history, culture and traditions of their countries. Also, UAlg students will share their mobility experiences abroad.

On the same day, at 5:30 p.m., the exhibition titled "The World at the University" will be inaugurated at the António Rosa Mendes Library, Gambelas Campus, which aims to show the various countries represented at UAlg through posters prepared by international students and objects which, over the years, have been offered to the Institution.

This initiative is part of the project "Algarve is Our Campus - Study and Research in Algarve", co-financed by the Regional Operational Program of Algarve - CRESC Algarve 2020, through the System of Support to Collective Actions - Internationalization, which aims to promote and strengthen the renown and attractiveness of the University of Algarve and the Region, through the implementation of actions aimed at internationalization and the consequent increase in the number of students, teachers and international researchers.
