According to the results, published on August 5th, by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), the University of Algarve (UAlg) appears in the top 5.9% worldwide and in 7th place nationally, among fourteen national institutions evaluated.
Center for World University Rankings places UAlg among world's top universities
In total 20,000 universities from around the world were evaluated, where UAlg appears in position 1168, and in research the Algarve Academy was ranked 1120.
This ranking evaluates the academic performance of higher education institutions, based on indicators such as the quality of teaching, employability of alumni, research performance, quality of publications, citations, among others.
