Rui Nunes, Associate Professor in the area of Quantitative Methods Applied to Economics and Management, is a former Dean of the Faculty of Economics. He took his Ph.D. in Economics, specializing in Econometrics, at the School of Economics, University of Manchester (UK), a MA in Economics, specializing in Econometrics, at the same University, and a BA in Economics at the ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa. His area of scientific interest is Econometrics and Statistics applied to Health. He was also a member of the General Council of the University of Algarve.
