Geo-archaeoinformatic approaches and multiscale mapping of coastal paleosols and archaeology in eastern South Africa
The main objective of the project is to study the paleo-landscapes and contextualize the archaeological deposits along the eastern coast of South Africa (fig.1) that may preserve long-term records of coastal occupation and foraging across glacial-interglacial phases of the Pleistocene.
