“Discover Portugal/Algarve”

A Universidade do Algarve e a Association of Foreign Property Owners in Portugal (AFPOP) lançaram recentemente um curso sobre “Discover Portugal/Algarve”. A segunda aula, teve lugar no passado dia 7 de abril, nas Ruínas de Milreu, e foi lecionada pelo professor João Pedro Bernardes (Arqueólogo da UAlg).

Atendendo às necessidades e expectativas desta comunidade, o curso “Discover Portugal/Algarve” visa aprofundar o conhecimento sobre Portugal e, especialmente, sobre o Algarve, onde serão abordados temas como natureza, cultura, história, língua e literatura, tradições, gastronomia, sistema fiscal, turismo sustentável, entre outros temas.

Sob o lema “Algarve is our Campus”, a Universidade do Algarve pretende interagir com a comunidade onde se insere, estabelecendo uma maior cooperação com a região e também com a população estrangeira que aqui reside.

O curso será inteiramente ministrado em língua inglesa e consiste em 13 módulos autónomos.

A UAlg e a AFPOP já realizaram um ciclo de palestras intitulado “Sharing Experiences” em que alunos e docentes da UAlg beneficiaram da troca de experiências pessoais e profissionais, comprovadas internacionalmente, de alguns dos muitos expatriados residentes no Algarve.
